Sana Ghobbeh is an Iranian-born artist and art researcher living in Brussels. In her performances she fuses architectural reading, interpersonal storytelling, and imagination sparked by being present in specific public spaces. To imagine your own body there, in that place, exploring the relationship between historical events, everyday actions, and a body’s position within its surroundings. Can fabulation and poetry help us discover small counteractions, subtle gestures that might shake the stability of architectural elements that favour oppression?

This performance is part of the artist’s long term research Performing Spaces — an exploration on urban structures and their inner-narratives.
